Thank EWE!

What a week it’s been!

On Sunday the 17th March, I returned from Birmingham where I was exhibiting at the fabulous Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza! It was so lovely meeting all of you who attended and stopped for a chat at my stand, or to try on some pieces. I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend! This was my first time there as an exhibitor and I absolutely LOVED it! I had such a blast and felt so welcomed by everyone there- it was such a pleasure to stand alongside so many amazing suppliers and individuals. The fair itself had such a strong sense of community, with everyone visiting each others’ stands and snapping photos for their social media to promote not only their own, but everyone else’s work. I really loved doing this as it gave me a chance to meet some really interesting and talented suppliers and have a good look at the various work they had to offer. I’ll pop a few of my fave suppliers below who I got to meet over the weekend, but for now, enjoy this snap of me with my stand and various pieces from my latest collection, Wonderland.

Tiny Sarah’s Cakes had a totally adorable stand that showcased her delicious looking creations just perfectly! Each magical cake rested atop a brightly coloured pillar and, honestly, I just wanted to eat everything in sight. I managed to grab a taster of some marshmallow rice crispy cake that was on offer and spent the rest of the day wondering how best to sneak back to steal another piece! Honestly, so so good!

It was lovely to meet my fellow Winter Garden neighbours Kate Jackson Photography and Made You Look Photobooth and I urge you to check out their work! Kate’s warm personality really comes through in her fun, vibrant photo wizardry, and Ben from Made You Look’s oversized, vintage style wooden camera is just out of this world! I may have got involved in a Boomerang session over there too…

The fair was spread across two venues this year, which, I think was a great idea, as there was so much to explore and everything felt really well spaced out. It was so great exhibiting next to my partner in crime and final Winter Garden buddy, Rosie from Rosie Red Corsetry and Couture. Rosie’s stand was twinkling with her beautiful corsets and robes, along with our group of amazing live models wearing a selection of gorgeous ensembles from various collections, accompanied by my headpieces!

Thank EWE all who came and said hi over the weekend! Don’t forget, my offer of £25 off ALL headpiece orders (made to order or bespoke) is also LIVE until the 6th April, so do get in touch if you would like to make your dream headpiece a reality!
